Ingredients

Scale
  • Carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
  • Cucumbers, sliced into rounds or sticks
  • Bell peppers, assorted colors, sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Snap peas or sugar snap peas
  • Celery sticks
  • 1 cup (8 oz) full-fat or 2% Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup (2 fl oz) mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional add-ons: pitted Kalamata olives, crusty baguette slices or crackers, fresh herbs like parsley or basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep the Veggies (10-15 minutes): Wash all vegetables thoroughly. Peel carrots and cut into 3-inch sticks. Slice cucumbers into rounds or sticks. Halve cherry tomatoes. Slice bell peppers into strips. Trim ends off snap peas and celery sticks. Pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Make the Creamy Dips (10 minutes): In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup Greek yogurt and 1/4 cup mayonnaise. Add 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, 1 teaspoon minced garlic, 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill, and 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives. Drizzle in 1 tablespoon olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Adjust lemon or herbs as needed.
  3. Arrange the Snack Board (5-10 minutes): Place bowls of creamy dips evenly spaced on a large serving board. Arrange the crudités around the dips in colorful sections. Add optional items like olives or sliced baguette alongside. Garnish dips with fresh herbs or a drizzle of olive oil.
  4. Final Touches and Serve: Let the snack board rest for a few minutes at room temperature before serving to allow flavors to meld. Serve with small spoons or spreaders for easy dipping.

Notes

Keep veggies dry to maintain crispness. Fresh herbs are essential for vibrant dip flavor. Make dips ahead and chill to deepen flavors. If dips are too thick, stir in a teaspoon of water or lemon juice. Serve dips chilled or at room temperature. Store dips refrigerated up to 3 days; crudités best fresh or refrigerated up to 1 day wrapped in damp paper towels.
