  • 1 roll (about 16 ounces / 450 grams) store-bought sugar cookie dough
  • 8 ounces (225 grams) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (120 grams) powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream (optional)
  • About 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • ½ cup fresh raspberries (optional)
  • Fresh kiwi or green grapes (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 12-inch round baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the sugar cookie dough onto the parchment-lined pan. Gently press it into a 12-inch circle about ¼ inch (6 mm) thick.
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Let the crust cool completely on the pan.
  4. Beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy. Add heavy whipping cream if desired and beat until light and spreadable.
  5. Spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the cooled cookie crust, leaving a small border around the edge.
  6. Arrange blueberries in the top left corner to form the blue canton. Alternate rows of sliced strawberries and raspberries for the red stripes. Leave space or use peeled banana slices or white grapes for white stripes.
  7. Chill the assembled fruit pizza in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Do not overbake the cookie crust to keep it tender. Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth frosting. Slice fruit uniformly for a neat flag design. Chill before serving to set flavors and make slicing easier. Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and ease cleanup.
