A quick and easy frozen strawberry daiquiri made with fresh strawberries, white rum, lime juice, and simple syrup. Perfect for summer parties and casual get-togethers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (300g) fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 4 ounces (120 ml) white rum
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) simple syrup
  • 2 cups (475 ml) ice cubes
  • Optional garnishes: fresh strawberry slices, lime wedges, or mint sprigs

Instructions

  1. Wash, hull, and halve about 2 cups (300g) of fresh strawberries.
  2. Squeeze 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of fresh lime juice.
  3. Combine strawberries, 4 ounces (120 ml) white rum, lime juice, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) simple syrup, and 2 cups (475 ml) ice cubes in your blender.
  4. Pulse on high for about 30-60 seconds until smooth and slushy but not watery.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more simple syrup or lime juice if desired, then blend briefly again.
  6. Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with a strawberry slice or lime wedge. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a frostier texture, freeze strawberries ahead of time. Use fresh ice cubes instead of crushed ice for smoother texture. Blend in short bursts to avoid melting ice and watery texture. Adjust sweetness and tartness by tasting and adding more simple syrup or lime juice as needed. For a non-alcoholic version, omit rum and add sparkling water or lemon-lime soda.
