Quick, spicy, cheesy crescent roll bites filled with a creamy jalapeño popper mixture, perfect for game day or last-minute snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (about 2 oz)
  • 23 medium jalapeño peppers, finely chopped, seeds removed for milder heat
  • 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives or green onions, finely chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and shredded sharp cheddar. Mix until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Stir in finely chopped jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Fold in bacon and chives if using.
  4. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into individual triangles along perforations.
  5. Place about 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons of filling near the wide end of each triangle.
  6. Roll each triangle from the wide end to the pointed tip, enclosing the filling. Pinch edges to seal.
  7. Arrange the rolled bites on a lined baking sheet, spacing about 1 inch apart.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until crescent rolls are puffed and golden brown.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Soften cream cheese before mixing to avoid lumps. Adjust jalapeño seeds to control heat. Avoid overfilling crescent dough to prevent leaks. For extra crispiness, brush tops with melted butter before baking. Can prepare filling and roll bites ahead, refrigerate or freeze raw bites for later baking.
